Caregiver Program

Caregiver Program

The Caregiver Program Visa in Canada allows foreign caregivers to work and live in Canada while providing essential care services. This visa is designed for individuals skilled in caregiving for children, seniors, or people with medical needs. Canada has introduced two primary caregiver pathways: the Home Child Care Provider Pilot (HCCP) and the Home Support Worker Pilot (HSWP), both leading to permanent residency.

Caregivers with a valid job offer can apply for this visa and, upon meeting eligibility criteria, bring their family members to Canada. They can work with an employer without requiring a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Once they complete 24 months of eligible work experience, they can apply for permanent residence.

This program addresses the growing demand for caregivers in Canada while offering a direct pathway to citizenship. If you’re passionate about caregiving and want to settle in Canada, this is an excellent opportunity.
